War Zone...

dksmI'm pretty sure my house has been transported into Baghdad or Bosnia. There were various loud booms and noises surrounding my house all evening, a few even shook the walls. When I opened my door, smoke filled the air. Then there were the sirens. Police and ambulance sirens racing past my house all night. I was pretty sure Hilter was marching on Indiana around ten tonight.
Okay so maybe it was just the crazy people of Indiana shooting off fireworks a few days early. And seeing as I'm in the middle of the city, people like ten feet from my house on four sides were having a fireworks contest. The sirens were more for the fact that it is actually illegal to shoot the fireworks off on any day BUT the fourth (but the dumbasses around me didn't apparently know this or didn't care). And, as I learned when I went to Starbucks tonight, the sirens are also for the stupid people a few miles down the road that SET THEIR HOUSE ON FIRE WITH FIREWORKS.
People are stupid.
