What is a pirates favorite letter?

dksmSo Matt and I and his friends went to the midnight showing of Pirates last night. I'm pretty sure we were the oldest, least emo-est, least dressed up like pirates, people there. It was fun. We made fun of the annoying teenagers; I threatened a girl in front of me that I would tell her the end of the movie (before the movie started) if she didn't take the ridiculous glow in the dark necklaces she had on off.
The movie itself was really good (from a fluffy summer blockbuster standpoint). It was much better than POTC2...that was lame. I knew the ending going in and was kinda disappointed in that but the way the entire story plays out, it worked much better than I thought it would. There was some good cinematographic shots in the movie, like the shot of Beckett walking down the stairs as the ship blows up around him.
And the kiss...THE Kiss. That was hot and made me like the Will/Elizabeth pairing again. That was a really well shot scene too. I loved the whole fighting together holding hands thing. That is why I'm cheesy.
But seriously, it may have been the fact that it was like 3 in the morning when it was over but the movie is a little too long. They could have cut some of the extending "boat sailing on ocean" scenes and a couple of the "pirates walk across screen like rockstars" shots. It would have condensed things. And the whole scene at the end of the credits would have been better at the end of the movie because those credits were freaking ten minutes long.
I'm super tired today. I didn't get to bed until four and had to be up at ten.
