Ugg...my brain hurts

dksmMy paper is done. It seems angry ranting at a televison show creator will cure your writers block on international terrorism. This is probably because TV show creators are probably terrorists. It feels like they are sometimes.
So I re-watched the spinoff part of Grey's again. Apparently I like to torture myself....and I am done with school and didn't have to work so I was bored.

On second viewing I liked it even better, especially when I didn't have to sit through the crap that was passing itself off to be regular Grey's (not bitter..not going there). It was sunny and cheery and funny with touches of sad mixed in.
So things I like:
1. Addison. Addison came on to Grey's. She screwed everything up. I spent a summer hating Addison. And then...then she was on my TV screen for more than thirty seconds and she became probably my second favorite character on Grey's behind Mer. And this? This was awesome because now I get Mer for an hour (if they don't kill her off at theend of the season or something) and then I get Addison for an hour. And the only time I hated Addison was with Derek and now I don't ever have to worry about that!
But more than that, Kate Walsh is awesome. She brought so much to the character. I can see where people think that maybe the writing was a little out of character for addison. She was way more nerdy and neurotic last night. But you have to remember we see Addison on Grey's in the context of Meredith. Everything on Grey's leads back to Mer and her perceptions. So yeah, Addison has always been the perfect McWife that Mer couldn't compete with. Now...now she's just Addi. And we get to see her without all the glamour and when she is screwed up and sad and clumsy...and it's pretty awesome. It also leads me to believe that Addison and Meredith would have been best friends in another life...cause they're both snarky and neurotic and pissy and funny. Maybe Addison can take Mer with her and leave the rest of Grey's to burn. Oh! And Patrick can come too....as Derek's non-asshat non-evil twin, Erek.
Did I mention my brain is fried from finals.
2. Who knew Tim Daly could be hot? I've been watching him since he was on Wings...he wasn't hot on Wings. Hmmm...they do know how to bring the previously geeky washed up male actors and make them hot in Shondaland don't they?
3. That kiss. Grey's has porny elevators....Addison's has porny stairwells. It was no Ellen and Patrick but it was hot.
4. Taye Diggs is hot...I don't think I really had to tell anyone that.
5. The other characters....you got your funny. You got your smart ass. And I'm pretty sure Violet is the dark and twisty one...watch out for your mom Violet!
6. The Alias love. Not only did they cast Francie (Evil!Francie!). But Sark! Sark was a guest star. I kept waiting for him and Francie to blow the place up!
7. It was sunny! I love the rain on Grey's. But lately the depressing thing...the rain has just made it worse. I'm loving the sunshine.
8. They played Robert Randolph on Grey's/Addison's. Now all I need is some DMB love!
Things I didn't like:
1. Dell/Piz. I'm sorry...that kid has been ruined for me. Because they put him on Veronica Mars and made him all McPlotDevice Love Interest for Veronica after she broke up with Logan. And now I can't stand VM and I knwo that Piz is a goner on that show so he just ruins things for me. And yeah he has a hot body but he needs to lose the crappy 70s hair. It doesn't work for him.
2. The No-Sex Couple...they were annoying..I think maybe that was a casting issue not so much a writing issue.
3. Ummmm...I can't think of a third. Umm oh! That crap they had all around Addison's Spinoff...the dead mom and slapping dad and the asshat boyfriend. THat was crap!
Okay I need to stop writing about this stupid show.
